Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd provides insurance advisory and risk consultancy services and operates as an authorised representative of Freed Capital Limited.

Freed Capital Limited is a licensed insurance broker regulated by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (HKIA) under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41) (Licence No. GB1096).

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd is not a licensed insurance broker and does not independently carry out regulated insurance broking activities.

How We Work

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd focuses on:

  • Understanding client risks
  • Providing insurance advisory and structuring support
  • Preparing coverage analysis and market comparisons

All regulated insurance broking activities, including:

  • Insurance placement
  • Policy issuance
  • Premium handling
  • Insurer engagement

are conducted by Freed Capital Limited under its HKIA licence.

Freed Capital Limited retains full regulatory responsibility and oversight for all insurance transactions.

Authorised Individuals

Only individuals who are:

  • Representatives of Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd; and
  • Licensed by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority as Technical Representatives (Broker) under Freed Capital Limited

are permitted to:

  • Provide insurance advice; and
  • Arrange or assist in arranging insurance contracts

on behalf of clients.

All such individuals operate under the supervision and regulatory framework of Freed Capital Limited.

Client Money

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd does not hold or handle client monies.

All premium payments and related transactions are handled by Freed Capital Limited in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including the maintenance of segregated client accounts where required.

Conflicts of Interest

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd and Freed Capital Limited are committed to acting honestly, fairly, and in the best interests of clients.

Where potential conflicts of interest arise:

  • Appropriate measures will be taken to manage such conflicts; and
  • Where necessary, disclosures will be made to clients

Remuneration

Freed Capital Limited may receive remuneration in the form of:

  • Commission from insurers
  • Fees agreed with clients (where applicable)

The nature of remuneration will be disclosed to clients in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd does not independently receive insurance commissions outside of its arrangement with Freed Capital Limited.

Claims Handling

Continuum Risk Advisory (HK) Ltd supports clients throughout the claims process by:

  • Assisting with documentation
  • Explaining insurer requirements
  • Coordinating communications

Claims are submitted to insurers by Freed Capital Limited, which is responsible for engagement with insurers and policy administration.

All claims decisions are made by the relevant insurer in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
